Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are changing healthcare informatics through predictive analytics, enhanced data analytics and optimization of supply chain systems. The technologies contribute to disease risk predicting, monitoring patients, clinical decision support, and efficiency of operation and help to promote personalized medicine and population health management. Integration of AI and hospital information systems, Internet of Things devices and cloud computing allows real-time insights and data-driven decisions. Nevertheless, the current studies and projects in explainable AI, federated learning, and autonomous systems continue to make solutions to issues like data quality, interoperability, privacy, and algorithmic bias, which will transform patient care and healthcare processes to develop resilient, efficient, and equitable healthcare systems.
